Sponge is excited to announce our new partnership with elementary schools in Los Angeles, California. We kicked off our first class on February 2, 2026, and the school, parents, and students all enjoyed our immersive, interactive, and fun approach to learning a new language.
We are proud to support after-school enrichment programs for K–5th grade students, helping children build language skills in a joyful and engaging environment. With over 20 years of experience in Washington, we look forward to bringing our proven programs to more elementary schools throughout the country.
We’re excited to share that Sponge’s Spring 2026 season officially kicked off at our Bellevue location on February 2nd! Students are already enjoying engaging, immersive classes in Spanish, Mandarin, French, and Japanese, led by our experienced and enthusiastic teachers.
Enrollment for the Spring 2026 season is still open, and we welcome new students to join the fun. If you’re looking for a joyful, social way for your child to build language skills, now is a great time to get started. Spaces are limited, so we encourage families to sign up soon.
Our updated, online e-learning portal is now live! The new portal uses the same curriculum used in our classes and uses audio-visual Flashcards and fun, interactive games and activities to help students continue practicing their language learning outside of the classroom. Practice language at home through reviewing vocabulary flashcards with audio, play games and solve word puzzles! We will be rolling this out to all schools over the next few weeks. We’re offering six weeks of language immersion camp this summer, from June 24 through August 02. Help your student keep up their language skills over the summer months through games, science and art! Explore the schedule to find the right week and location for your summer plans.
Note: Camps are open to Pre-K students (students attend morning portion only) and K-2 students who attend the full day camp.

Viajando por España
We are going on a trip to Spain! Come explore places, food, and art of this famous European country! Being immersed in language all week is one of the best ways to learn. Play games, cook, do arts and crafts, act out skits, sing and just have fun–all in language
The secrets of the Maya
Calling all explorers, archaeologists and linguists! This summer, we’ll be traveling through the lush jungles of Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador to explore the ancient Mayan civilisation. There are stories to be told, art to be made, pyramids to explore, food to eat, and most importantly, fun to be had!
Vayamos A La Playa
Keep your language skills sharp this summer. Be sure to bring sunglasses and flip-flops as we’ll go on a language journey to the beaches of Mexico, Puerto Rico, Colombia, and Uruguay. We’ll play games, sing, and do arts and crafts in this week-long virtual trip. ¡Vamanos!
Nuestros sabores
Join us as we learn about traditional food and dishes of Latin America in this week-long immersion camp. Learn all about the ingredients that go into traditional latin cuisine and how it’s made. It’s guaranteed to be a deliciously fun week of language and culture!
